Founded in 1974, Lee-Mur Electric was established in downtown Toronto with the idea of specializing in office renovations serving clients with electrical requirements in the local market.

The trend in 1974 was new construction.  A boom in a rapidly growing city left the existing buildings to struggle to find repair services to which we were able to act upon and satisfy needs as they arose.

​We were able to use our experience from previous employers and continue to service clients that needed support for their existing buildings, etc. 

Over the many years, we have formed long lasting relationships with many clients who trust that we will be there and that we will complete the project above and beyond their satisfaction.

The creator, George Murray received his electrical Masters degree in 1974 after working in the industry for approximately 10 years prior.  His knowledge and experience over the last 50 years has been passed on to the team and clients alike to ensure excellence.

Our work is very important to us, our clients come first but we also feel it is imperative that we give back as a company and as a team.  We are proud supporters of the Princess Margaret Hospital and the Children's Wish Foundation for more than 20 years.  Some of our team members also take part annually in the fundraising.
